STAGE 1 COMPETENCE MODULE: Geotechnical Investigation and Foundation Design

PROVISION OF COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT LEARNING SERVICES

NIGE provides a series of learning events yearly as part of the Institution’s initiative in promoting Professional Competence and Capacity Development in Geotechnical Engineering. The events are presented in two stages. The first stage offers two main short courses on Site Characterization & Subsurface investigation, and Analysis & Design of Foundations. The second stage is devoted to training programmes on Application of Geotechnical Engineering software. Both stages are designed and delivered in such a manner that will make deep-seated impact in the competence level of participants at affordable costs.

This template outlines the courses in the first stage of the learning event which is designed to be delivered in hybrid format (Lectures will be online and practical sessions will be physical but based on the location of the participant).
